Many times over the years, those who come to Mission SOLANO have told me, “Ron, you don’t know what it’s like. You don’t know how hard it is to change and get off drugs and live a clean and sober life.” I just smile and say to them. “Oh, I think I know what it’s like, let me tell you what it will take. And if you’re ready, you too can live a new life.
God’s love found me and met me where I was. He gave me the hope and help that I needed to stay clean and sober, and to clean my life up. More importantly, He gave me the hope of a life in Him and a passion to help others. My redemption story is a reminder to me of why I do what I do; I pray others find hope in it as well.
It’s with that new life in mind I share my personal story with you…
SHINE - A Series
Many of us remember this song from when we were kids... "This Little Light of Mine...I'm gonna let it shine!"
This little song is a powerful reminder of how lives can be transformed in Christ. And when we are radically changed, and brought out of the darkness...we are compelled to let our light SHINE.
These are the stories we will be unfolding over the next few months. Stories of how lives are being transformed at Mission SOLANO - people who have experienced this change, and are now letting their light SHINE!
