The Hope Home for Homeless Veterans

Not only is beautiful Fairfield, CA the home of Mission Solano, it is also home to Travis Air Force Base. This large military installation brings special attention to all the military personnel and families that sacrifices so much for the freedom that we enjoy. Mission Solano cares deeply about our military and specifically the veterans of war that return home and need a hand up. Veteran men, women and families come to our Bridge to Life Center seeking an environment where they can heal and begin a new chapter in their lives. Many of our guests have physical wounds that require special care from our loving staff, and all our guests have emotional wounds that require unique care from specialized counselors and staff. Mission Solano is excited about providing for our wounded warriors.

We have partnered with the VA Northern California Health Care System to offer housing and care for veterans living in Solano County.  With this partnership Mission Solano delivers many core necessities to our homeless heroes.  In 2010, Mission Solano opened its newest building at the Bridge to Life Center…The Hope Home for Homeless Veterans. Here we provide Transitional Housing and meals
for up to 45 veterans. On top of this, we also provide emergency shelter beds specifically for veterans that need immediate short term help. This room and board provides a safe and healthy environment for our vets to begin breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. We also offer Laundry Facilities for free to all veterans in our care.
